Adding Mmats 4110 to Sony 7000
Question on how to add Mmats 4110 amp and speakers to newly installed Sony 7000 in my 2015 Ultra. Install on Sony was flawless. Great addition. Will be adding the Mmats amp and Mmats 601cx speakers to complete my system.
Do it just plug amp into RCAs on the Sony head unit and the wiring to the speakers remain FROm the Sony or will I need to run speakers from the amp?
i hope that question makes sense. Also will I need spacers for the speakers install (4) in both fairing and tour pak?
I greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide.
best regards nd thank you in advance!

You'll need an amp wiring kit if you don't want to piece it all together yourself.
I like this one for simple systems such as your and has nearly everything you'll need.
Next up is speaker wire. Get some good 14 or 16 AWG that is oxygen free copper or OFC for short. You'll need it to run to the rear speakers. Do yourself a favor and find some quick disconnects for the rear speakers in case you ever take your pack off. It'll avoid cutting into your speaker wire later. Deutsch, Molex, Weatherpak, etc.
Amp kit has enough wire for the front speakers
Will also need a 1.5 or 3 foot RCA Cable. I recommend the Stinger 4000 series. You can buy 2 if you want to run front and rear for fade, but you'll likely never use it. If just using one pair, the amp if I remember right has an input switch for 2 channels or 4 channels
Spacers will be needed for the TP pods. VTwin adapters will help, but you'll still need to make some adjustments, but the speakers alone will NOT fit the pods without some sort of means of spacing them out.
Sony radio starts to distort somewhere between 35 and 45 on volume. My sony is 40. So find a happy spot to set your gains from based on the sticky on the forums. It's simple and won't take too long to do.
The Mmats 601CX have 2 different size leads on them if you're using spade connectors. So a trip to the store may be in order to get them put on properly.
