Default Help Electronics NOOB!!! Whats the Major Differances with these new Stereos?

Hi,I haven't bought any new Electronics in Yrs so I'm, Looking for a new head unit for my 14 SGS and after reading all the info on in Think I have decided to go with a Sony. I was wondering if someone could give me a quick rundown on what the differences between the Ax 5000 and the Ax7000? Or if there is a better option open to Ideas? I'm only going to run the front Amp and 2 Speakers, I Got A RF TM400X2ad Amp for X Mas Present from the fam. I have a set of Older Infinity Kappa's That I would like to replace so Suggestions there would also be great, Not going to be competing just want some loud and clean **** !! lol

AX7000 has better glare resistance, 5V pre amp outputs, water resistant buttons, and an internal amp that puts out 45W RMS but is pretty much useless on a bike. It also cost 150-200 dollars more. Get some MMATS PA601.4CX's that are marine treated and give them about 150W crossed somewhere in the 100-120Hz range.

and you feel safe out on the road?

i just installed the Sony 7000 and everything else is stock. The internal amp provides plenty of power to hear above 70mph. Stock speakers suck, but it definitely increases the volume.
