Default Anyone running Polk mm652???

I'm upgrades speakers and an amp on my 2010 flhtk. I have the Jensen hd1bt radio. I'm leaning hard towards the Polk mm652 for fairing and tour pak. Not completely sure which amp to pair with them. I was thinking maybe the Rockford fosgate pbr300x4.
Any feedback or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That amp is horrible, and gets pretty hot!. I would stick with the tried and true stinger if those are the speakers you choose. There are better speakers out there for a tad more money.

It’s what I have in mine, 2 Polk mm652 and 2 RF1652 in the lower fairing with a pbr300x4 pushing. Sound great for the cash spent.

True story! Stay away from that amp. Much better 4 channels out there.

Running MM652's in the tour pack. All's well so far. Good sound and they actually fit so that's a plus .

Those wouldn't be bad in the tour pak but there is better for the fairing for sure.

I have those speakers on my Road Glide for both my fairing and Tour Pak and they go plenty loud enough and are relatively clear for all types of music. These were readily availalble here in Canada, otherwise I would have considered MMats. The Polks can be a little high pitched on some music, though not to the pint that it is unbearable. I am using a smaller Focal amp and it drives them well enough. No issues with the speakers in 2 seasons

If you haven't already ordered everything up. As others have mentioned,I would go with the Stinger SPX 700 instead of the RF PBR series. The stinger is a way better amp. As for speakers I believe the Polk MM 652 should fit in your tour pack with out any adapters, but if you can spring for the price of the Mmats PA601.cx in the fairing I think you will have a better fairing set up. Sounds like the MMATS are backordered, but they are well worth the wait.

Thanks guys. I'm sticking with the Polks cause they were in my budget but I sprang for the Rockford fosgate tm400x4ad. I read a lot of good things about this amp. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

I’ve got the 6x9s polks in my lids. I think they have a good sound. I bought mine refurbished from Polk itself on eBay. I think they were 130$. For the price, I’d do it again. I was worried about refurbished. But I think someone told me in the site. That they think refurbished is better, because the go over the entire speaker and double check all it functioning.
