Trying to understand what the adjustments on my Dayton DSP mean. Under high-pass and low-pass filter it lists Type, Freq and Oct. Can someone explain what the Oct. means and how it affects the sound?
Also on each band of the EQ it lists Freq, Q and dB. Could someone explain what Q means and how it affects the sound.
Just want to understand what the adjustments do and why you would make them instead of just randomly changing numbers. This is a photo of what the DSP screen looks like This is not my setup. Just a generic pic.
