Default Amp wiring help

Started my Sound Digital 800.4D evo amp install and I have a question about channels. Typically which speaker goes to which channel? I have 4 new Polk Audio 4ohm speakers and simply want to increase the volume and clarity with this amp. It is a 2012 Ultra Classic and stock head unit. I bought the wiring kit but I am not sure which speaker to hook to which channel. Should I even be using all 4 channels or should I be hooking two speakers to 2 channels and if so which ones?

If you are just hooking up 4 x 4 ohm speakers I would hook 1 speaker to each channel. Faring left and right to 1 and 2, rear left and right to 3 and 4.
