It was definitely a lot louder. It did get a little distorted at max volume. So sound quality wasn't as good when using max. My biggest concern is running a distorted signal all the time (even if I can't hear it) and burning out voice coils or something else on my speakers.

I did some listening with gains set just below distortion (with DD1) and gains set at rated max (with multimeter).

I set the gains just with the multi-meter to get 200 watts
