I left my switches in place because they still work in my case. I had Iron Cross install front and rear preamp outputs on my head unit so I could still use the intercom/headsets and CB. I didn't have any clearance issues at all regarding the switches and wiring.

The CB module was an installable option so as far as I know there shouldn't be any problem unplugging it and setting it aside. That should make some room under the fairing for other goodies. I kept mine wired up I just put it underneath the head unit to make room for the amp. if you get creative there are lots of spots in there you can hide stuff. Under my fairing I have an Arc Moto 600.4 amp, an Arc PSM DSP, Metra SaddleTramp bluetooth module, CB module, GPS power supply, two PAC SNI-1 ground loop isolators, a PAC TR-4 remote turn on module, and sound deadening material on the inside of the outer fairing.

I mounted the CB under, but later I may store it. Yes, I also ordered an sound deadening kit for the outer.

Decided while I'm doing it, I'll add a Fusion MS-BT100 Bluetooth Audio Module. No point in having better sound and not having a Good Playlist or 2.

Is there anything in the CB harness that requires the CB to be connected? I never use it and would like to store it.
Yep, I left the old switches and wiring in place but I ran new speaker wire. I doubt you will ever go back to factory once you've heard your system with a new amp and new speakers.
Not sure on the CB module, but should be easy enough to unplug it and see if everything still works.

Components rolling in, still waiting on the Fusion MS-BT100 Bluetooth Audio Module. Will be focusing on wiring this evening.

Aggressive Audio made up some really nice harnesses.

Looking good Tsheff. If you ever want to be able to select and control your Bluetooth using the handlebar controls the Metra SaddleTramp bluetooth module is very easy to install on those head units. I like mine a lot. If I am streaming Pandora or I-Heart or whatever and don't like the song I can skip it with my thumb controls. Also I can pause it and put it into random play using the buttons on the head unit.

P.S. I forgot to mention that my setup is so packed that I had to take the circuit board out of the Metra box and insulate it to get it to fit.

All back together. Think I got it tuned pretty close. Bluetooth installed and found out my MP3 player isn't Bluetooth. That test will be next week. Old IPods are cheap and all I need it for is MUSIC. Thanks for the Advice Guys.

Good job TSheff in the meantime you can just dump a bunch of MP3s onto a blank CD. I usually rip my CDs at 192kbps which still sounds pretty good and gets about 110 songs per disc.

Good luck.

I've got several disc burned, just easier to organize plalist and change on the fly. I have been leaving a CD in and MP3 plugged in and alternating as I get bored.
