Radio with Apple Carplay

Radio with Apple Carplay
My new project is a Sport Glide with an FXRT style fairing (TOL Design) and I'd like to put a radio that works with Apple Carplay (on that fairing there's a space for both single or double DIN radios).
I found a lot ot them, but for cars only, not even one that it's waterproof (IPX7) to be installed on a bike.
I don't even consider to spend 2.000 USD for a Boom system and I found unbelivable that nobody put on the market a waterproof radio with a big screen to use Google Maps through the iPhone...
Any advise?

I dont think any of them are going to be advertised as water proof unless you go with one of the powersports radios. You could add a radio of your liking and use a Shimmy cover or something similar, Just try to avoid direct water spray. I have used over a dozen regular car radios over the years and haven't had any issues that i can think of.

You can go with the Biketronics kit for a double din. They claim the enclosure they put around the headunit and screen will keep the elements out. I myself havent used this set up but I believe there are a few here on the forum that have and may chime in.
