Default lowers to warm things up

I just installed a stinger 700 and Kappas. I am looking at doing speakers in lowers. Would a 6.5 midbass warm up things? The Kappas are screaming at me. I also am using BT355.

if you can afford it, you might try to replace the kappas with the Mmats pa601.4 cx and see if that's enough, if you want a little more add the same to your lowers.

If it were me, I'd put a warmer speaker in the fairing and put the Kappa in the lower. Maybe a PA601CX in the fairing crossed at 100-110. The Kappa will still be loud from the lower and not melt your face.

I'm impressed with the power handling of the kappas in this application.

Yes there is a bunch of stuff that's better, just depends what ur budget is and how much ur willing to do for a fairing install other than 4 screws per speaker.

I would be looking for good 6.5s that dont have cross over boxes. No cutting up the inner for me. I'll prolly try the Mmats.

You'll have to either cut your speaker pods or heat and reshape them for the mmats to fit. No big deal either way. Assuming this is going in your RGS.

Yep, got my heat gun ready. Are the Mmats drop in for the lowers?
