The HU sends its signal to the amp via rca cables. The amp then sends that signal to the speakers via speaker wire from the amp to the speakers.

gotcha. I read somewhere someone had trouble installing the amp above the stereo because of the visor. They made some custom bracket. You have that issue?

What do you mean by visor? The fake vent divot?

there's like a rain protector visor that flips down in front of the stereo. Could probably just remove it worst case lol.

You shouldn't have any issues with that with the Stinger amp.

ok cool. Did you tie the power wires from the amp into the power/ground wires already in the fairing ot run them completely separate?

You'll need new 8 gauge wires to run the amp.

hmmmm ok. My fuse panel was a little weird, only had one switched ignition source which has the fairing going to it currently.

If your fairing is already wired for the HU then use that to power the HU. The 8 gauge for the positive and negative on the amp will go directly to the battery with a 40amp inline fuse on the positive wire.
