I'm running 6x9's VO's and 8 inch GZCK's in my bags and I like them...is it 10's and a sealed back 6.5 or a comp horn of course not...The 6x9's in the lids sound good for the wifey! I put a foam baffle around one 6x9' to see if it helped, did not hear much difference, it seemed muffled a little till I cut a few small breather holes in the bottom of the baffle! Then if you stuff a jacket in there that sounds a little different also...depends what your looking for...my next step will be 10's but space is tight now so not sure! I like the way it sounds now... best it's ever sounded!
Thanks Moto Mike so you kinda lost me on how you're running those gzck's with rings or sealed? And what amp and how much power to them?
Also how long have you been using the kenwood? Have u had any problems paring bluetooth that seem to be the only thing that people had problems with. Thanks for the insight

Rings or sealed?? Not sure what your asking..GZ 8's are mounted in rear of bags with rings, using the bags as an enclosure. using a SD 600.1 to power them so approx. 300 rms to ea. 8! I don't use Bluetooth, USB and cd's, so no help there! Depending on song and bass line I can hear them up to 55- 60!
