Best 6.5s with factory head unit?
Hello,
Im new to the forum and looking for advice on speakers using the factory head unit.
Ive done some research and there seems to be an ocean of options. Im not looking to win any audio competitions, but I do like my music loud, clear, and no distortion.
I have a 2016 Ultra with Boom Audio Stage 1 already in it. I blew the fairing speakers within the 1st 2 months.
I am looking to replace the fairing speakers and the TP speakers with some real good 6.5s. I'm thinking of using the Arc Audio 600.4 amp.
A local shop suggested SPaudio midrange 6.5s. Has anyone here tried those?

I put the MMats in my 2016 RG along with an NVX VADM4 amp (and BT355 line leveler) that was recommended by several in this sub-forum. It took me a little work to get it all tuned in (had to cute the pods so the speakers would fit and sealed them back up with Dynamat), but very happy with the results.
I can't speak for the rears but you could do them front and rear with that amp and should be good. You'd need 2 BT355's in that case though.

Solid advice there. Hard to beat that setup for $$ vs.SQ.
