Just put in amp and added rear speakers in the lids 6.5 Hertz and have stock speakers still in front. Everything is working but I dont have fm reception now why would that be?

What amp? Where is it mounted?

What amp did you put in. That’s probably the culprit.

Tm400x4 it is mounted on top of radio

Do you have a hidden (in the fairing) antenna or stock antenna at the rear of the bike? I never had a problem with my tm400 and boom hu on my 2018. Check the antenna plug also.

I have the in the fairing antenna due to tour pack on.

That's the problem. I have never seen an in fairing antenna work with an amp. Regardless of what amp or antenna.

There are several different solutions depending on what you want. I run a tp also and just took my antenna off. I just don’t listen to fm. I have several memory sticks that I download music too and listen to it. I have seen where people have relocated their rear antennas under the seat, inside the fender ext to retain fm but I have never tried it. You may also try a stubby antenna to see if you can retain some fm from it.

Yup, flip that whip antenna backwards and run it under your seat. I did mine and it works fine. There's a youtube video showing how its done.
