Fits in the Rushmore Batwing and Shark like it was meant to be. We just have to get Massive to stop sniffing that glue that caused the price to jump up by $200.

I would have to guess the sales have dropped off a bit on the TX48 at the current pricing. The surge in sales made sense at the $220 sale price. Even at $300 it was probably still very competitive. Too bad they have chosen to jump the price as high as they have.

I debated on ordering on, even though I wasn't sure if it would fit in my 05 Batwing, but I decided to hold off.

You mean sales came to a screeching halt. I don't know a sole that has paid $500 for one.

It is an 1/2" longer per there website than the SS pn4.1000d and that amp was tight. it does have mounting tabs I am not sure if that counts in total length,.

Yep, I had the SS in the bike before the Stinger and it was definitely a tight fit. Had a look at the dimensions and didn't want to take the chance on it fitting.
Decided to spend my hard earned money on a DSP and a SMD DD1. Maybe by spring we will have other amp choices to consider.

I had the SS PN4.1000d sitting on top of an aftermarket head unit.

2008 SG with Massive Amp TX48 on top of an Dayton DSP-408 and a Kenwood amp in front. This was while fitting everything, so of course not finished. The Kenwood amp is something he had in there already, so I made a mount and used it to push 4 horns. The Massive is pushing 2 6.5's, 2 6x9's and 2 8's.
