The fast rings will also help just a touch but I'm thinking u might focus on the tune. 350-400 hz can bring the cardboard and 800hz can bring the a little trouble for elec guitars.
If u got the mud, 200 or less is prob the focus area.
All of our descriptors & terminology seems to be very different thus ur prob better off isolating the fairing speakers and running each band slider u have programmed up and down to further isolate the sound u no likey.

By isolating and reducing the painful frequencies with my DSP I have first gen Motos in my fairing that sound warm and do not fatigue at high volumes. That American Hardbag article about bass helped me adjust the Q on the low end to remove the booming vocals as well.
