Question, How does the Stinger Amp compare to the MMats amp?

Here is my thinking...

Matts 4110 amp,
mmats pa601.4cx speakers (4),
Rockford Fosgate RFK-HD14 install kit

If I do the install, the I guess about $970.

Does this still require a flash using the stock 6.5 Boom radio?
Would there be a better sound quality if new wires were ran back to the TP speakers?

Am I missing anything or can anyone else suggest better?
Isn’t the Rockford install kit designed to mount the Rockford amp?

My guess was thinking the RF kit could be used to mount any amp, Not sure, guess I'll have do do some checking.

Is a flash of the Boom still required?
How do he Stinger Amp compare to the Mat amp?

Thanks everyone for all your help! Every suggestion was great as it gave me new ideas to look into. So far this has been a great learning experience, with more to come!

Here is what I decided on after many, many hours of reading posts in the forum, asking questions and Googling...

Stinger SPX700X4
MMATS PA601cx - 4 Ohm ea. - MMATS
Vtwin Audio tour pack adaptors
HogTunes fairing speaker grills
Stinger 1.5m RCA Cables
Biketronics BTBOC Amp Wiring kKit w/LL (Keep Fade)
Amp Power Wiring Kit - SCOSCHE EFXAKCM8B
Harley Davidson Power Extension for remote wire
HU flash @ Harley dealer to 6 speak/0 amp (may want to add lids in the future) - Still unsure if this is needed as some have said that the LLs don't completely make the settings flat.

Everything sounds good so far, other than there is no 6 speaker 0 amp flash that I know of. 4/0 is what you should currently have if you're using a BTBOC, assuming you have an Ultra, Ultra Limited or RG Ultra.

Fair enough. I read somewhere about a 6/0 and figured I would find out what was needed when I went to the dealership. Also, I read some posts that some dealerships will only flash for the Boom upgrades. I called the closest dealership to me and they said they no longer have the ability to flash the HU unless there is a Boom upgrade because the computer reads what is installed. I called another dealership an hour away and told them basically what I was installing, they said sure. I just need to tell them what I have installed and they will flash for it. He said the flash is free, they just need to charge for the time which should be about 20 minutes.

I have a question about the Line Levelers. After the HU flash do you still need LLs?

You actually don't need a flash, you have the 4 speaker 0 amp flash. Yes, you will want the Line levelers for your system.

Not to repeat what DSM said but you have the flash you want already in your Ultra, 4/0. Once you start adding aftermarket amplifiers you will not need to flash for the next set (6) of speakers. You can just use RCA splitters off the front LL to add 2 more speakers to the front stage and/or an RCA splitter off the rear LL if you want to add more speakers to your rear stage.

Thanks for the info. If I add another set of speakers I will most likely add another amp. Also, I think there is a misunderstanding, I have not had the HU flashed yet, still factory. Unless I am mistaken, I should currently have the 4/1, correct?

You have the 4/0 flash on a factory Ultra.
