Thank you, not to bad for a Geezer Glide for sure.. The one take away I always get is "Man, we did not expect that out of your bike". It was fun, I just pulled the bag speakers and will pull the fairing speakers this weekend. Going a different route again. Let's see how it does in St Louis at the end of next month. Make the trip down should be a Grand ole time, with a lot of buddies from the forums here. Gann, Tailwind, Gypsye, SBates, ADenton, a few others and myself. Come on Down!!

I’ll definitely consider going. I’m rolling out to sturgis tomorrow and when I get back I have a whole pile of stuff to install so I’m not sure I’ll be ready for it.
What other features this have over the 5000? I currently have the 5K and am thinking about throwing this in if it has some better advantages, also wonder if it would plug right into my current wiring and control the amp, Bar controls ect??
Thought I read someone say that it had better water resistance as well.
I just tan thru a torrential downpour last week in Sundance WY during the Rally with no problem, bike was outside overnight for 2 rain storms no problem unit didnt skip a beat so i guess unless its waterproof ill stay with what i got considering there are not any real improvments. Just my opinion

You probably read the very first post that started this thread.
I have not been able to find any other mention of it being water resistant anywhere online. I'm not saying it isn't water resistant but if it is it's a well kept secret.
The 5000 is apparently somewhat water resistant so is that what Lucky 7 is writing about?
Looking forward to this unit! I think I heard somewhere the water resistance claim had something to do with the outside buttons having a sealed membrane over them?
