Good kit for my 19 SGS?
Anybody not like it?
Any tips or recommendations.
Pulled my faring off and there is no RCA jacks. 2 ohm 4, 8 ohm, 2 channels 4 channels, bridging????? Sooo many choices.
I just want good sounding tunes rock, classic rock and a little bit of country. 2 speakers with factory head unit at 90 MPH.
Thanks

I wouldn't do it. For a 2 speaker setup you can put together your own system for around 200-300 bucks less that will be better than that. Nothing is really plug and play you still have to do all the same work. Only benefit of the plug and play kits is they have some speaker harnesses already built up that you may or not need and that you could also make yourself for cheaper if you wanted to spend the time. You need to get a BT355 line leveler to flatten out the crappy Boom HU eq. That will have your rca ouputs for the amp. Besides a budget you really need to ask yourself if you plan on adding more speakers in the future.

So the speaker wires from head unit plug into BT355 line leveler and RCA's out of that to amp and speaker wires from amp to speakers. That makes since.
I don't have any plans to go more than 2 speakers but willing to buy 4 speaker amp just in case. But I value my bag space and have no intentions on put lowers on.
$800-$900 is budget. 2-300 for speakers and 2-300 for amp plus wiring and line lever.
I keep reading good things about hertz so I was going to with those but not sure what model or ohms. I was thinking Hertz MPX 165.3 PRO 6.5" 2 way Car Speakers
As far as amps, does ohms come in play withe amp selection? I was thinking Rockford Fosgate TM400X2ad Power Marine 400 Watt Class-ad 2-Channel Amplifier Will this work?
But these speakers are 4 ohm and amp is 2 ohms and not sure what HD HU ohms are.
Feel free to say what you would buy.

Your biggest obstacle will be getting speakers to fit in the pods without modification. I personally don't know if the mmats will fit in the speaker pods without modification but I do know that they sound damn good with a mmats 4110 amp or stinger. I would suggest the following setup.
Mmats 4110 amp or stinger spx 700x4 amp $280
mmats pa601cx speakers $180
bt 355 line leveler $80
stinger 400 series $15
Amp wire kit $30.
Total $585
With some research, that setup can be bought cheaper but still provide some of the best SQ for a 2 channel setup and still provide room for adding more speakers in the future. Also you can use a nvx vadm4 amp bridged if there is never a thought of adding more speakers (lids or lowers).
