Does anyone know what "DSO" is? Owners manual says "Dynamic Stage Organizer" and it "enhances audio output. There are four settings. Off, Low, Middle, High. I know that the different levels change the way it sounds but I don't know why or how. It was tuned with the setting off. All I'm asking is does anyone know what it actually is?

 

This is what I found on DSO when I was installing mine:

"The unique Sony technology in the Dynamic Stage Organizer (DSO) compliments the XAV-AX100 features, overcoming the inherent acoustic disadvantage of front-door mounted, full-range speakers which can sound muddy or unclear. The DSO adjusts the signal creating the illusion of dash-mounted virtual speakers to provide an ideal, high quality sound experience for the journey."

I leave it off as it sounds like its a car thing.
