Default iPhone 6S and new software upgrade

Have been using my 6S for several years both using blue tooth and thru the usb cable. After downloading the .2 upgrade the phone won’t work with the usb cable. I’ve tried an iPhone XS and it works fine as well as a SAMSUNG Galaxy. Have called HD and taken to dealer and they can’t solve the problem. The radio see’s the phone and is actually streaming music but is not outputting any sound. Any ideas outside
of a new phone 😄?

Try a different cable. Sometimes they can act weird. Also check volume on phone

This

And check to be sure the phone is set to media/data through the cable and not just charger.

If you backed up your phone before the upgrade try reloading the back-up.

do you have a song downloaded onto your phone? you need at least one for the device to recognise it.

That was the issue, downloaded one song from Apple Music played that song briefly and all the streaming music apps starting working again, $1.29 fix, thanks

Thanks for the reply on the fix. It's always good to get the answers to these issues on the thread. Folks searching can find solutions.

Thanks again.
