Default Still on the lookout for some 8" low Frequency

I was real close to giving the Cerwin Vegas a try, but then read that the actual diameter is 8.25, so it won't fit. Still kicking around the Hertz HMX8, but what about TS-M800PRO from Pioneer? Specs are good. Super high sensitivity. Anyone given these a shot in a lid?

I thought I have the lids with the separate woofer & horn holes? Shouldn't u be looking into non-coax product if that's the case?

Or send them lids back and get the one hole lids that will accommodate an 8" coax?

2 cents.

The tweeter hole isn't drilled, so it's not necessary. Frankly, if I can get away without going over 8 speakers, I think I'll have better luck keeping it under control. Yes, I have looked at the yellow baskets, and like them alot. Looking at the frequency SPL graph, they seem to hit full SPL up around 110hz. I was looking for something that hit a good volume between 50&60 hz. It may not even be possible. I just know you guys have been around alot longer than me, and have more idea of what works and what doesn't.

At that range I’m pretty sure that’s in the class of a sub woofer. Not something I think you’ll be able to achieve with any mid/kickwoofers.

Talk to slodsm about the yellow GZ's in the lids. See what he has for power going to them. They sounded fantastic and hit very hard with plenty of volume.

This. There’s no 8 inch in the lid that will peak or hit at 50hz.

Pioneer has never been the loudest, but always the deepest.
What are they rated down to?

Yea I don't think you'll get anything to play that low in the lid.I am curious as to how the Faital would sound in a lid, if it also fits. https://faitalpro.com/en/products/LF...p?id=101030200

This would be interesting also but both are large and would take some work to fit.
