Default DB drive WDX6MOTO Failure

So I've had these on the shelf for probably a year before I had them installed in the fairing of my wife's 18 RGS. If it matters powered by an ARC 600.4. Had it installed for 1 day and she complains of rattling noise from the right fairing speaker. So I pop off the grill and the tweeter just falls over. Seems to be a bolt/screw missing? I just say that because of the threaded brass insert. Seems it was only held on with a bit of glue, or the screw disappeared. Replaced them with the Arc 602s that I pulled from my lowers. We are both running MMats in our lowers now.

Thanks for sharing. Prob a good thing cause them Gen 1 dB Motos will rip ur ears off if u cannot manage the highs.

I figured the OP ripped the tweeter off as a defense against the speaker ripping his ears off. Lol

That's good to know. Ill give it a shot. I was just gonna throw them away anyhow. See if I can work it into an upgrade to the newer ones (with a few extra dollars I'm sure)
