Default Stock H/U interface with other components

After having some issues with my stock HU yesterday I have come to a conclusion on what route I would like to take but have a couple of questions.

For now I would like to buy the boom audio ($550 bucks) and use my stock HU. It’s the amp kit and two speakers. I’ve heard they sound great at high volume and don’t distort and I’m not looking to be the loudest guy around town, just need something louder than stock and clear.

However, once my stock HU craps out I will be replacing with an aftermarket headunit, will this be able to integrate with the boom audio amp? It looks like a harness just plugs into it so I’m sure I will have to rewire some stuff. Is it a big pain to do this?

I don’t want to start from scratch and buy the HU,speakers, amp and all the wiring because I have another things finances need to go to and I’m hoping that the stocker last a while longer then transition over to aftermarket when the stocker finally craps out. Open to to other suggestions. Thank you for any input!

The Boom speakers & amp are a complete waste of cash. Wait and do it right the first time.

U can easily get aftermarket amp and 2 speakers that smoke the Boom stuff for 500 clams.

Hell and NVX VADM4 and some DB WDX 6 Moto Gen 2 will destroy that Boom stuff.

Having the boom audio on my bike stock with CVO.. it sucks for the price to upgrade to it. Had I paid for it outright, I would have been seriously pissed. You do not want boom.
