Hello, need to know what the plug goes to? Its a bunch of wires connected to it, and it says amp at the beginning of the plug. This bike was a police crusier and I’m deeing that there were a lot of wires on it that were clipped off. Just need some more info, thanks!

 

Probably to all kinds of stuff that's not there anymore. Tuck it and forget it.

In this case I think Amp is a brand of connector. Nothing to do with an Amplifier I think.

 

It is a 2008 Harley Street glide. This is another loom of wires that I have found that doesnt look like it goes to anything. I really just want to cut it all together. But like I said, this isnt the only wires that I have found like this on the bike. A bunch of wires have been cut, so I just have been removing them cause there in the way

 

I'm looking at 2008 Police Models wiring diagrams, and I'm not seeing a Street Glide?

 

It's likely an Ultra Classic. With that many pins, where it's located and the wiring coming in from the side, it looks like the ECM plug, but the bike wouldn't have ran if it was not plugged in. Does the bike run?

I'm seeing some colors in that bundle that suggest wiring to the controls up on the bars and that suggests things like lights, sirens and whatnot.

Check the tech manual. I downloaded a PDF for mine off the internet, for free.

Does it still have the control switches for lights, sirens, etc?

If it was a police bike it probably went to the bags or pack that is no longer there for all the lights, bells and whistles. Literally.
