Just a heads up. My wife found out that I am hooked on adding to the stereo, and she is out for blood. Dont be surprised if a chubby little short lady shows up at your house for encouraging me.

Don't let her read your post, she'll be back to looking to you for blood. Lol.
It was great riding into work today. I set the volume at 39, and was great up to 65 or so, and pretty good up to 90. The low end isn't where it should be, but I'll get there with lowers soon. I'm not a big fan of the Sony touch screen. It didn't want to work with my touch screen gloves.

Be careful with that volume. Pretty sure that HU tops out at 50 and 75% volume puts you at 38 and that's what you should've set your amp to. If you are having to get that high with the volume I guarantee you're introducing distortion that you will not hear at highway speeds.
Keep in mind that your amp will produce more power going down the highway at 3,000 rpm's than it will at 1,000 rpm's while you're tuning the amp. Therefore, if your going over 75% volume you're setting yourself up for failure.
Good point. I didn't even think about that. I tuned it to 29 volts, bit forgot to take off the EQ settings. I'll keep it down until I can get some lowers going.
I'll leave this right here. Not sure where you got your specs from. You're far exceeding what they're capable of handling if in fact you're at 29v which is over 200 watts.
Clearly I had a stroke and made up my own numbers. I better turn that **** down. No clue how I keep screwing things up. Maybe I should take this a an opportunity to add new tweeters in the gauge holes and run them at 2 ohms. I should have to have all my purchases approved by the forum.
