For that price and sticking with the coax & water resistant theme, the WDX 6 Moto Gen 2 has more hit than the 601cx thus I would drop those in the fairing before the cx.
But do the Motos fit a RG?
If I spent another $100 or $200 could I blow away both?
What if I had a DSP vs spending the cash on BT355s?

Lots of variables. Lots of solutions.

I just put the mmats 601cx in my bike with a sony head unit and the mmats 4110 amp. Overall I am very happy but now I want to add the pa601s for some lower end.

Finally got my system installed (sans the rear channel). The WDX6MOTO-G2 wouldn't fit in the rear pods so I changed directions and ordered up some lids. Anyway, installed the BT355LL into a Stinger 700 feeding the G2 MOTOS up front. Took a little cutting on the pods, sealed them up with a little dynomat. Special thanks to SoftPeter for the hookup on the equipment and to Traveling Gypsye for sharing his knowledge and patience in answering multiple QnA IMs. I estimate this forum probably saved me $2,000. The wisdom here is a tremendous resource for those, like myself, who otherwise would not have the confidence to do this installation themselves. Thank you all.

Duke, did you happen to snap any pics of your "pod mod" to fit the G2 Motos. I just bought a pair to try (going to compare against Hertz MPX 165.3). These will be running off a bridged Diamond Micro4v2 (same AMP and configuration I'm currently using with the Hertz MPX 165.3)

This shot doesn't show the mod but it was the only one I took of the front before putting the fairing back on. (P.S. the lower bolts at the marker lights are a bitch!)

Thanks. Was that because the speaker magnets were hitting on the outer fairing after you put everything back together?

No, I'm just not a fan of the brass bushings. I jacked up a couple that ended up with me buying a tap and dye set. On the positive, I now have a tall and dye set.
