Default 2019 Road Glide Ultra. Best Setup using stock GTS HU

All. Thanks in advance for your help. I have been searching but there are so many opinions and options that I have brain over load right now. I am looking for a system that I can hear over 70 mph that is clear or as clear as can be. I listen to rock and alternative music mostly. Budget is $ 1000 to 1500 but if lower then great!

I plan on replacing all stock speakers, installing new amp and doing the work myself. Need a total of 4 speakers that consist of 2 fairing speakers and 2 TP speakers. Looking at various amps like Hertz , stinger 700, SD. So much to know so much to search. Also if needed I'll need a DSP and any mounting brackets etc. Anything else? I dont think i need to flash the Boom GTS since I already have fade.

I appreciate your help.

Mark in central NY area.

First with just 4 speakers you don't need a dsp. 2 bt355 line levelers with work for you, on what speakers you get for the fairing, you can mount them in the pods with minor modification so you wont need speaker brackets either. That stinger is a damn solid amp and is easy to install and tune. I am currently running it in my fairing.

The bt 355's one for the front and one for the rear can be had direct from biketronics. Youcan call Donna or Cindy direct and get a discount for being a forum member. The stingers can be had for under $300.

You will need this:

https://www.amazon.com/Harley-Davidson-Universal-Aftermarket-Amplifier/dp/B01MR5EN67/ref=sr_1_6?crid=178C6QGXJIJWM&keywords=harley+amp+wiring+kit&qid=1554051554&s=gateway&sprefix=harley++amp+%2Caps%2C207&sr=8-6 https://www.amazon.com/Harley-Davidson-Universal-Aftermarket-Amplifier/dp/B01MR5EN67/ref=sr_1_6?crid=178C6QGXJIJWM&keywords=harley+amp+wiring+kit&qid=1554051554&s=gateway&sprefix=harley++amp+%2Caps%2C207&sr=8-6

Speakers are a personal choice but keep in mind that the tp is in direct contact with the weather and you will need a water resistant/proof speaker back there.

Hope this helps.

Thanks travellingsgypseye.

Glad I dont need the BTBOC LL ultra Kit. Wow

So for speakers I'm Thinking hertz hcx165 in fairing and Polk mm652 in TP. With your recommendations will these go well and pretty much plug and play?

Thx again. Mark

Default Stinger 700

Also. I can only find the stingers for $370. Is there someplace to get them for ~300?

The hertz hxc will need to go inside the pods with a bit of modifications as the woofer excursions will hit the grill if mounted like stock speakers.

I would look into a set of wdx motos for the rear as they are loud as hell and There are some for sale in the sale forum here. Not sure about the fit in the tp though.

Well there you go. Never ran a tp. I cant afford those high price bikes with tour packs and besides my short legs have a hard time swinging over them.
