I had to install some spacers in the vented lowers for my 03 to get them to sit flush for the grills. Got them on amazon.

Man with the Rushmore models search to be sure, the lowers on them have a bigger internal size than pre Rushmore and you “may” not need a spacer for the 601’s.

So a 1/2” spacer will not get the job done with these in the tour pak?

Was finally able to put some decent miles on the bike today, so at some point this week I need to mess with the eq on my headunit and knock those higher frequency notes down a bit. Overall it screams and I am extremely happy. Buddy I was riding with today ended up just shutting his radio off and listened to mine. Said he could hear it clear as day on the interstate doing 80.
Just wanted to let you know I got my system fired up and working. Same as yours but with pa601s in the lowers. It absolutely rocks. Super clear and all of the volume you can stand. Very happy with the system. Havent had it on the road yet due to weather here in NE Ohio. All indications are it is going to work out great. Will let you know. Can see my posts on 03 uprgrade.
