Default Daytona Bike Week Deals?

I've got a 2015 SGS with the 6.5 Boom obviously. They're offering a Rokker kit with (new) 330 watts and 2 speakers with install and flash just under $1000. It sound pretty good in the display.

I found the components on the Rokker website and the retail is around $700 with a refurb amp but still full warranty so labor and flash is under $300.

Any opinions on this?

Qualifiers: I already have forward controls and I hate lowers. Sold a near new Ultra Limited 'cause I couldn't get my feet far enough forward. Also, I don't have $2k+ to do rear lids, paint, etc. So only interested in a 2 speaker upgrade.

Thanks

I don't want to do ANY audio labor myself. I don't like the one local guy. I've been in there a number of times and bought from him before. Not again.

So if you mean by "these guys", people recommending what to buy and do myself, that's not happening.

I've read the threads about fantastic audio on here. I need something with labor included.

Thanks

BTW- local to me is the Daytona area.

If you are willing to go south around Miami then look up Alex Haze. One of the best and can make your setup sing. Hit him up here. Haze.

there has got to be a Rockford Fosgate booth down there somewhere. That would be a better choice in my opinion.

The labor and flash seem to be under $300 based on the website prices for the components. I was able to see a bike get the same kit today while I was there. Took 2 guys who know what they were doing over 90 minutes start to finish.

I put 2 different stereo/speaker kits in my 2010 in the six years I owned it. It's a pain in the ***. I'm sure this would take me 4 or 5 hours.

I work for my money and charge more than this per hour. Doesn't seem like double/half to me. But I'm open. That's why I asked for opinions.

So since you suggested RF can you recommend the part numbers?

Agree with everyone else. Rockford is better and was at Destination HD last year doing installs. Their front and rear kit for your bike would be in that same ball park. And it sounded pretty good if you aren't looking for a competition bike.

For comparison, I purchased (2) SD 800.4 amps, DD VO 6x9, DD VO 6.5, (4) DD B3 horn tweeters and a DD DSP for just under $1k. Granted, I did the work, but it sounds pretty damn good on a Road King. Not sure how far you are from Orlando, but if you're interested, PM me and I can set you up with my distributor who also does good installs. Just an option.

I found the 2014 to 2019 HD kit on the RF website so I know what I'd want. I'll pm you. Thanks

For what you are wanting to do, my opinion is this would be a better way to go.

https://www.rockfordfosgate.com/prod...ils/hd14-tkit/

May even have a rally special going on, and that's a pretty decent amp. Also set up if you ever do want to expand to 4 speaker set-up.
