Speaker polarity for DB Drive WDX6MOTO
Hi,
I will be getting these ready to connect when my lowers get back from paint.
I want to solder some pigtails/leads (about a foot long) to make final connections easy when I'm ready to do the full install....
I guess I can call them next week, but would really like to do this over this weekend.
So the question I have ....if anyone can answer:
Which connectors is Positive?
The large one?
(The opposite side has 2 smaller pins).
Thanks in advance!

The larger one is positive but a little test can determine it. attach the lead wires to a 9 volt battery. if the excursion goes in then it is wired right. If the excursion goes out it is wired wrong. Positive off the battery going to the large terminal should cause the excursion to go in.

In all seriousness, I keep 9Vs on my work bench and test every damn speaker I install. Far too many of these sweat shop manufacturing sites have randomly wired or marked the leads wrong. Ya just never know.
