Mid woofers in bag?

the PRV 8 inch Forte's so rock thats for sure. with your bike you most likely will not need the charging system upgrade that mine did, as your system is already more powerful than my older bike. it's already 50amp 3 phase stock. most likely won't need an extra battery either, as long as you are not planning on playing the tunes sitting still in the parking lot.

Who has put 8’s or 10’s in bags using jefe rings and how did you like it? I see faital and GZ claim to play down to 45/40hz and I’m curious if that’s a legitimate claim (this is for the tens) and has anyone ever simply installed one instead of 2? I’m willing to give up 1/2 a bag but not sure I can give up 1/2 of both bags lol.
Obviously youre not not going to hear this thing at 80 but backroad cruising I’m thinking it will add some fullness to the system.

Hey Marco, what 3 phase stator did you use, Harley...Accel...or something else. Good song Frenchie, Hornsby music is really clean... use Rainbow's Cadillac for tuning all the time! Rob do you or Jean still have Hold on by Tom Morello... that song sounded better and hit harder on my bags? Slod I can send a video to your phone with the GZ 8's on my bike with a basic tune or on my facebook page there's a video...facebook is Michael Bertram... under more on my page then hit video!

Hey Moto Mike, i used the upgrade kit from Cycle Electric, stator, rotor and voltage regulator. CE-84T-99. What year is your bike? that would be an important piece of info cause if you are 07 or later you already have this (as far as specs go for OE system) or more depending on year and model.

07 SG is 50amp 3 phase, so you should be good on power. the factory service manual has these specs in it, or you can go to shopatronnies or another website and check the parts listing, the listing for your bike shows a 50 amp 3 phase stator pn#29987-06D, so you should be good for all but the more extreme ends of the scale! (like trying to push a 2000 watt monoblock amp).
On a side note, it really sucks that some dealer staff and techs spread this kind of crap mis-info, When i worked at the dealer we needed to KNOW this **** before we spoke or we got fired! and all in all it doesn't help use repair guys when the Dealer, who is supposed to know the deal, spews crap!! And it makes it harder for a guy like me to properly educate someone.
