So 14 Ultra, 6 speakers fairing, lowers, and TP pods? Your planning to buy the HT lower pods? You're wanting to use full range speakers where it makes sense, sound about right?

No problem the cell phone keyboard has done no favors to communication.
What are you willing to spend? Can you turn your own wrenches?

Well with that budget in mind and my limited experience I think you would be in a good spot if you considered:
Fairing- Hertz HCX165 =$150-200 possibly you could find some Digital Desings AW6.5 still =~$200-300 or the Hertz ML 1650.3 =~$500-600
Lowers- Soundqubed QP-MR6.5 or Rockville RM64PRO =$50-60
TP pods- Could go a few ways, these speakers will drop in with out spacers. Polk mm651, Kicker ksc 674, Alpine spr 60 the Kicker may have a new model number. They are all over the place price wise. I think the HCX165 would fit the pods with a spacer so that would be another good option if your willing. So =$100-200
Amp- I think a Focal FDP sport($700-800) would be a good choice. The Soundstream PN1000.4($ cheap) would be a decent power plant. The Stinger SPX700x4 is also good($275-350)

For shix and giggs
Fairing- Biketronics Hertz ml 1650.3 Kit =$800
Lowers- Rockville RM64PRO =$60
TP Pods- Hertz HCX165 =$150
Amp- Stinger SPX700x4 =$275
Total =$1285 So there should be enough left for wiring, spacers, and a line leveler. My .02

Not to steer off course but, if the DD AW 6.5 are that great then why have they gone away ? Have never heard anything bad about them and seem to have been a favorite of many for some time now. As fast as bike audio evolves I would think as long as there's demand for a quality speaker that clearly performs any manufacturer would be crazy to phase them out unless there is something better from D&D coming out. We should have seen it by now... right ?

If you do a forum search and read about the DD AW6.5 you'll find that they can be difficult to find(or discontinued) due to import/production problems I believe. So although the demand is there the product is not therefore something different had to be used/found.
