Default Radio swap

I have a '10 Ultra Classic. The HK head unit went bad. I found a killer deal on another head unit from a '10 CVO Ultra Classic. Will this be a direct plug and play swap, or are there some issues I may come across to get it to work? Common sense (!) makes me believe it will be a direct swap, but things never work out that easy for me!

TIA

Should be a direct replacement with the possible exception of the fader. The CVO amp automatically activates the fader through the CAN BUS system. This was a system that was introduced in late 2010. If the CVO is an early 2010, you may have to get the unit flashed
for the fader to work.

Thank you for the information. Will check the fader as soon as I install the radio. Also, would it hurt anything to leave out the CB unit? I'll never use it and it could be just a little extra room under the outer fairing to route wires.

You can certainly leave the CB out.
