I may not have kept my polarity straight on the drawing, so don't get hung up on that if incorrect.

is the drawing essentially correct regarding placement of the different components?

With this 2 speaker and amp setup, how should the amp be configured?

4 channel? Each woof and each tweet on its own channel?

Harley head unit
Focal fdp sport amp
Hertz 1650.3 speakers- woofers and tweeters

Is the RCA a Y splitter?
If it's a standard RCA cable all look correct

As long as you have the focal in 2 channel input, then all 4 outputs will be fine without a rca y splitter but there is no fade from front to rear. Just 2 speaker setup? If so just run the components off the front 2 channels to the crossover and let the crossover separate the woofs and tweets. The rear channels are not in play. If you are trying to bridge that focal to use on just the fairing then that will be WAY TOO MUCH power to those 1650's.

Where is the remote turn-on wire coming from? Or does the focal have sensing and turn on with signal through inputs?

This is a pic of input connector that came with the amp.

If I am following correctly, I should just use the channel 1 and 2 plugs and make sure the amp is set on 2 in.

Both these RCA's and the BT355 are females, so will have to get a male to male to mate them.

There is a remote turn on wire on the speaker connector, the one in blue on this pic.

Yes sir. Also look at the high input harness and see if there is an adaptor on the end of it. If there is, you will need to plug it into to the rca input as early focal amp were wired wrong. They included an adaptor to make it right.

I believe this is the adapter you are referring to. It says to remove the adapter if my 14' or newer Harley came with 4 speakers from the factory. It didn't, so think adapter stays on and we are good to go?
