gauge of wires
what gauge wire do i need to run for a stereo i a fairing, not sure if im going to run an amp yet

Anything under 500 watts, which most decks put out about 20 watts rms you would be fine with 16 gauge.
Power and ground to the deck maybe 12 gauge

thats going to suck pulling 1/0 through the frame, maybe ill just cut off the top of the backbone

8 gauge fits easily and will cover future needs, And 8 gauge power cable kits with fuses near positive battery lug are easily available from many places, even Walmart.
