Default How do your TP Speakers Look?

Hi All - I had to use 1/2in spacers in order to install the Polk MM652's in my tour pack. I have a 2018 Road Glide Ultra.
They sound great, however, the speaker grills are actually larger in circumference than the spacers. I am not 100% sure I am happy with they way it looks.

I had the Alpine R-S65s. They fit perfect in the factory location w/o spacers. I got caught in a rain storm and 1 of the Alpine's quit. I thought I would try the Polk's.

Curious what others have done? Any suggestions / thoughts / pictures of your tour pack install?
Would you rec'd I try a completely different set?

Thanks,
-Ryan

I have an older bike but I found that 1/4" spacers closed up the gap enough to where I really don't notice it.

They were a set I got off of Ebay that didn't have holes in them. That way you could drill them to fit any speakers you wanted.

I used the Boom! Stage 1 grills and made 1/4” spacers out of the plastic spacer/adapters that came with the Polks. I cut the tabs off and used fabric store thin double-sided tape to attach black vinyl that matched the TP pods.

Default 6 1/2” Hertz in 5 1/4” speaker pods

6 1/2” Hertz mounted in 2012 5 1/4” speaker pods. It took 1” spacers to fit them in but they sound great and the wife still fits in between, lol. What I like about this particular Hertz model is the tweeters could be rotated to point directly at my ears. They sound great, even startling at times on certain tunes with the right mix.

ADs with 1/4" spacers.

Also looking at the Rushmore bikes it looks like they spread the speakers out a little bit. I think that may help with the sound as well as passenger room. I wonder if it is possible to spread the pre-Rushmore pods out a little bit somehow?

I have had a variety of different 6.5" speakers in the pods including Kicker Ks series, kappa Infiniti, arc moto 602,DD CC6.5, HERTZ Hcx,MMATS 601,PRV6MB250 and Crescendo UN6.5.
There may be a couple I have used but may have forgot.

Thanks to all for the replies and suggestions/pictures.
I am going to see if I can find larger (circumference) spacers.

If you are using only 1/2" spacers they will fit under the fabric and conceal the gap with most aftermarket grills.

I recognize that name. That is the company I got mine from off of Ebay. They were a perfect fit for my ADs.
