I have been thinking about getting the Arc Moto 600.4 and running it in their amp tray for my 2018 Road Glide Special. However when I watched the video I noticed that you have to pull the entire amp out in order to adjust the gains etc.

Searching through the forum, I noticed that it appears you can run the Focal Sport Amp in the same area, however you can reach the amp settings. Are there any other 4 channel amps that you can do this with as well?

I am planning on running the Euphoria Component 6.5's in the dash and DD VO 6.5's in the lowers. So I am looking for a minimum of 150W RMS per channel.

I put my Focal right on top of the headlight on my 18, it wont fit long ways under the radio, to wide. its just held down with some heavy velcro, i left the wires just long enough to turn it sideways for tuning.

 

Helped Gann install a stinger amp in a RG and it fit perfect. I helped him to gain the knowledge of a RG and the stinger as he didn't really need any help. The nice thing about that amp, it set right above the radio and all the connections/adjustments are out front with no modifications.

 

I would like to see some pictures of how you accomplished mounting an amp on top of the HU on a Rushmore RG then also with the fairing on.

I can see mounting the amp on top of the headlight or under the HU on the RG.

Well, shixxx. It was on top of something and fit perfect in the hole. Yes, I am old. Yes, I have slept since then. Yes I will put the bottle down but leave the electronics stuff alone well...........

It was a pre Rushmore as there is room on top of the HU for an amp.

The OP has a Rushmore RG. The amp he is looking at using will mount in a few other places EXCEPT on the HU

The other areas for mounting the amp would be under the HU or on the headlight.

 

That AMP would have had to go "under" the radio, on "top" of the headlight, or "in" a bag

Assuming application is Rushmore RG or RGS (2015+ up)
