PRV 6MR500-NDY-4 HiPass Setting
So..... where are y'all setting the crossover point on these? Freq response according to PRV is 105-12500 and they recommend using a 275hZ HiPass with a 12dB slope. I've got roughly 140w going to each..... just wondering if I needed to go that high or if I could drop it a little lower?

The best way would be to play a variety of your favorite songs and adjust the crossover to get the sound you are trying to achieve.
Normally with those speakers I have found between 85 to 105 to be a happy spot depending on the amp

It is a balancing act between the power and crossover setting. Are you using the amp crossover to set the frequency?? Is there a eq or DSP in play?

I did some calculations last night after checking the amp gain settings again. I got a handheld oscilloscope in over the weekend to make sure I wasn't getting any clipping at my initial calculation of 23.6v on each channel and found out that I was, so I had to bump the gain down to 22.5v to keep clean signal which means I ended up with 126w going to each speaker instead of the 140w I thought I was sending them. Right now I have them crossed over at ~115dB based on position of **** and my calculations... but I have a DSR1 coming next week that will allow me to dial in specifically what I want.
