I don't plan on buying a tour pak right now. I will just have to see what works for me. First I will see what I can get the VO 6x9s for and go from there. 6x9s and 8 are similar cone area so maybe that will work. Hell 6x9s and 10s work for Gann.

6 speakers - PRV or pro audio 6.5 in the fairing, horns in the fairing with compression drivers in the lids, 10's in the bags add a DSP. I do this install every week, it's our bread and butter for our average customer. I would never put 6x9's in the lids with a 10 underneath. Your call brother, just sharing what we've found works for us.
Brother there is no such thing a product of choice without considering the entire system, how much power, what sound the customer is looking for, etc. I routinely use 4-5 different 10's with our installs.

I agree with this, just differ on speaker choice... Stay away from 8s in any kind of lids. Be easy on me Alex!!!

That's the kind of info I'm looking for! That makes a lot of sense to me. I haven't heard it but I bet it's got to be good.
