Trying to get my truck and trailer ready for this trip. 6 inches of rain since 10pm last night and tons more forecast for the next several days. Riding there ain't gonna be an option from the looks of things I am so sick of this years weather. It took me all summer long to find a weekend where It wasn't pouring rain either here or in Louisiana or everywhere in between to finally get to go ride with my son and his buddy in Louisiana last weekend.

Bike is packed and ready to roll. Trailer isn't going to work with this bike (negative tongue weight) so riding over it will be. Rain appears to be fading but we've had 8 inches here since midnight! It's a great ride from here to there mostly on hwy 412 so I'm looking forward to it. This Glide eats pavement and makes me smile every single mile!

As a long time permanent resident of Northwest Arkansas, I'd like to welcome everyone to our neck of the woods. Have a great time & ride safe. For those of you that have expressed interest in a group greet and ride, I'll be sending out text messages Thursday morning and sharing our plans and proposed meeting places / times / rides etc.
For those of you that plan on spending any time on Hwy 12 (east of Rogers and Northeast of Fayetteville), please be aware that the Arkansas High Department recently put down some fresh gravel on that road prepping for new asphalt and reworking the shoulders. Please ride with caution for at least 15 miles on both sides of small town of Clifty, Arkansas.
