Default DSR-1 audio pop

Well, installed the DSR-1 and started playing with it to get to know the Band pass, all pass, and high pass. Pretty straight forward EQ setting got it sounding good.

Now,
Started bike and a ridiculous audio pop on every start up. Wired in a delay and now it happens like 1 out of 3 times. This pop is so loud don't know how long speakers will take it.

What is another option?

1. Make sure you’ve updated the firmware

2. Use it’s own power and ground wires separate from anything else.

I have been having the same problem. First it was turn off pop. Fixed that by running power to amp power wires instead of ignition power lead under fairing that's also used for lighting and heated grips. Now it's turn on pop. Doesn't happen every time. I'm also running the Sony 100 like you are juice. What I've found as a workaround, which is stupid is to power off the HU before shutting off bike. Then power it up after bike is started. It doesn't happen on ACC, only when I put bike to ignition and the radio restarts.

I was having the same issues with mine. I was advised to set the remote input mode to dc detect. And clip the remote input wire. So it turns on when it sees power to the rca’s. But I can’t verify this, as I haven’t tried it myself yet.

mine does not do it on acc/ or run. It is after I start the bike.

I had mine wired to first amp then a wire from first to second amp had pop then just made y coming out of dsr and two separate wires to each amp and pop is all but gone.have not found amp turn on delay in dsr yet but saw vid and pretty sure its in there hiding. also on list is going back at some point there was i screen that lets you pick max output volts from like 1 to 6.5 volts. work on darn thing then a week of work then back at it and my pee brain forgets what learned week before.
