As for the amp, I currently have a SD 400.4 under the radio and an MMATS MD-4100 on top of the headlight. I tried a DD 4.90 and couldn't get it to fit in either location.
I am waiting to hear about the GZ Micro 4 amp and where and how many fit under the fairing . I think Haze is working with those on his new road glide
you could fit 4 of them with some creativity.

A Soundigital 1200.4 (and many others) will fit under the radio with the Lex Rivera amp mount (which requires some minor mods).

In a Rushmore with the stock HU?
One thing I've seen researching what amps fit is a lot of people not taking into consideration that massive stock unit.
More amp options out there if you go aftermarket HU.

it fits under the radio. You need to cut the metal frame area under the radio and replace it with the red amp tray.

Yep like Haze said it fits with the stock HU.

Also dB WDX Motos will fit with either a hole in the pod or heating the side of the pod and working it out from the inside. The tweeter barely fits under the grill but it does fit.

Polk audio mm652s do not life not up perfectly on a SG and allow you to retain the stock paper speaker covers. I had to use hog tunes ones. Fitment had to be adjusted
