I did get the studs out with vise grips! 82-9601 speaker adapters work as suggested and advertised. I know I'll find myself among the minority when I say that securing these speakers with only 3 screws is a mickey mouse solution, but it is what it is. The Hertz MPX Millie's sound loud, clear and robust …….. but I WANT ROCK. Since I have audiopipe tweets mounted in the fairing, I should have held out for a 6.5" NON_COAXIAL midrange speaker that will pop!

The Aquatic AV unit being used does not have pre-outs (RCA) for the front array, only for the rear. Not sure how to fine tune the cut-out adjustment on the Razor 1200D amp to get the best from the system. The amp has high-in for the front, which means I'm using the speaker out from the head to drive the tweets with HP. Aquatic specs on the head unit suggests that the RCA outs are rated @ 2.0 volts, but do not mention any signal source voltage or wattage for speaker output levels which are 4X = 45W @ 4ohms / 72W @ 2 ohms. Is there a home grown option to tweak the cut-out adjustments to get it close other then by ear? Also, Any recommendations on a 6.5" non-coaxial speaker that will rock, cuze that's what I wanta do!
