I had 5.25 Memphis sounded great, not water proof. Bought 6.5 Polk marine speakers. The Polk sound is not good no bass. sound not clear
Looking for kick *** faring speakers
Have 200 watt 2 channel Memphis amp

What 6.5 Polk Marine speakers did you purchase and what 200 watt Memphis amp do you have ?

OP do whatever Gannicus says. I can say though that the WDX5 Motos have a little bit of bass for a 6.5" speaker and can take a beating. I have cranked those things to where it looked like the cones were going to reach out and slap me and they never complained. They are not "warm" speakers though, but if you are only running the fairing speakers you may have to make some compromises.

I would do a search on here for j&m and see what you find. look for the comma's, and dot's.

 

It's not gonna be pretty. Not many folks like the J&M stuff at all. It's awesome if ur ears like their product but if u ever take another bite at the sled audio apple, make sure u come here before u make a move as the troops will get u pointed towards bang for the buck speakers that will make ur eyes water compared to the J&M stuff.
