Default Audio Options for Road King

Hi all.

Im interested in options for audio options for my 2012 Road King.

I’d like FM radio and Bluetooth capabilities.

I like the option of controls near the handgrips.

Anybody have a good setup like that?

Anybody?

I don’t necessarily want to spend ~$800 on a Boom Audio system that, from what I’ve been reading on here is less than stellar.

Im trying various portable Bluetooth speakers, but prefer something a bit more permanent and “one with the bike”.

Are you just looking for the little 2 speaker set-ups that attach to the handle bars?

That or if there are good head unit enclosures that mount behind the windshield.

Looking for for any suggestions on what people have done and if they were pleased with it.

Lowers from eBay $200
Polk mm652 $150
nvx xubt3 xubtm1 $25
Fosgate pbr 300x2 $160
Ive installed this on a bunch of bikes. It won't win any audio awards but you'll have good quality sound at a decent price.

I'd say decent at best. Good quality sound and PBR300x2 or 300x4 should never be in the same sentence. Not busting your ***** bro but I know this isn't so.

SBates,
Just curious since I just bought my bike and it has a PBR300x4 amp already installed, what are the issues or reasons these amps suck so bad? I’m planning on upgrading mine and the speakers but I haven’t had any issues with the one in my bike and it seems to be 2 ohm stable even though it’s not rated for it. My lid speakers are Hog Tunes 6x9’s and are 2 ohm speakers.
