Question Bridged or no?

I recently installed 2 Hertz HCX 165s in my 17 Ultra Classic fairing with a JL m400/4 amp and the Sony AX5000. I decided to just run the amp in 2 channel mode, but having read more, I'm wondering if I should be running them bridged. (I'm not running the tour pak speakers from the amp) Sorry for the novice question, I'm still fairly new to the audio stuff. Thanks for any advice!

The HCX's will need more than the 75w you're giving them. I would bridge that amp especially since your other 2 channels are unused.

Kind of a bummer that this larger footprint amp taking up all that space has to be bridged for a couple coax speaks.

Yeah, I'm hoping to upgrade to something better in the future. I see everyone recommending the DD aw's with tweeters, but there aren't any dealers near me and it seems impossible to find them online. Taking a bike trip later this year and I hope to ride near one then. Figured I'll put decent less expensive coax in until then.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that. Bummer. Looks like I've got a bit more research to do, then... Thanks for the heads up, man!
