Default Biketronics pod elimintors

So I'm gonna be running PRV in the fairing and I know the biketronics pod eliminators work great BUT I hate to pay for brackets that are more than the speakers themselves...u guys came up with any other clever ways to do it lately?!?!

They'll fit, you've just gotta get creative. I trimmed the lower lip of the pod to allow the speaker to sit a little lower and it lines up perfectly with the hole in the fairing. Take a flap disk grinder and grind down the outer corner of the speaker so it doesn't make contact with the inner fairing. The top of the speaker will need to be flush with the top of the pod. right on..dont really wanna spend 200 on the pod eliminators again...u don't think is sacrifices sound at all staying in the pod as opposed to open air??? Is this similar to what you do Alex?

I don't think they suffered any loss. This was a friends bike that I installed these on and I have the same speakers in my 2010 and I can tell no difference between the 2.

Did you install with pods or with pod eliminators?

I think most speakers sound better in the pods if you can get them to clear the inner fairing.
