Default Setting Gains

quick question, I'm messing with the gains on the amp in the tourpak, is it ok to just fade the radio to the rear and adjust? the input signal is off the rear pre outs of the radio, or do i need to leave radio set to center and pull the front cover and disconnect the front channel. with the front speakers blasting i cant hear to set the rear, didn't have to mess with front amp its a bt4180.

If you have the fairing cover off just unplug the front RCA's. If not, fading to the rear is ok too.
