If he's looking to stay on a budget, you can do something simple like a CV b52 amp, Kappa speakers and a BT355 line leveler. It's a straight forward, tried and true combination.

He will want a BT355 Line leveler. This will plug into the left and right speaker wires in the fairing, from the head unit. From there you plug 2 RCA cables from the BT355 into the amp inputs. You will connect the power and ground wires back to the battery. Fuse the positive line with the recommended fuse size. You will also connect a remote/trigger wire from an ignition controlled source. On a SG there is an unused wire up high on the brake side to source that. Then wire the 2 speakers from the amp outputs.

What is he doing for speakers?

Thanks guys, all set, nothing was plug and play with the AMP but it sounds great for ONLY having two speakers. Not sure what they are but he upgrade them a few years ago. Found the wire diagrams for his bike to tap into everything, couldn't have done it without that.

Did you install a BT355 Line Leveler?

Are you running the stock flash on your HU or an aftermarket flash? Or a DSP?

You will still need at Line Leveler from Biketronics if you're going to run an aftermarket amp....regardless of the flash that you get at the dealer. If you don't, you will be doing this again.
