Default Hertz Cento Pro 6.5" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers - CPX 165 PRO

Anyone have any experience with the Hertz Cento Pro line of 6.5" speakers in our Harleys?

None, but if they're listed below the ECX (Energy) line I wouldn't think they're that good. The ECX aren't all that great on a bike.

Thanks Haze. I just buttoned up the CV B52 and Infinity 62.IX installation on the new 2018 Road Glide and already considering what to do next speaker wise. I ordered the 62.IX based on my previous experience with their predecessor, excellent value to price proposition and the fact they were readily in stock. Nothing wrong with my combo but was searching for the holy grail of a decent coax in the $200 to $300 dollar range. I can't afford to overspend now. I've got a new bike payment..........................

The Cento line appears to be all new. It's listed as Pro line under its own line (not under Energy) I wonder if they replaced the HCX line with these, I don't see those listed any longer

On the site they're listed below (figured they were in rank/tiered order with MPX being first). If the are better spec'd than the ECX then I'd say go for them!! I always liked the HCX stuff.

Yep, I was perusing the Hertz website early this morning and saw the Cento product line exactly where you found them. They looked to be a mid-range placement between the MP / EC product lines. Specs. and design looked good and thought they might be a good choice for someone not wanting to drop $350 to $600 on a pair of fairing speakers. I might be the guinea pig........................

I am also looking at the CPX 165 Pro speakers. A lot of folks mentioned the HCX line but like you I discovered they were discontinued/dropped.

How do you like those infinity speakers? I'm hoping to get some for my fairing speakers as well.
